☀️ Global Compounders: July update
I hope you're having a lovely Summer so far. I recently returned from a holiday in Guernsey, Herm and Sark - which are three of the Channel Islands off the south coast of England, just west of France.
There are two items in this month's update. Let's jump in.
- Updated Global Compounders Database
I've just finished updating the Global Compounders Database. You will notice that it has a slightly new format. Companies are now scored across 7 factors (covering growth, return on capital, margin, capital intensity, SBC, stock dilution and interest expense). Companies currently scoring a 7 include, six companies in my portfolio (TechnologyOne, Constellation Software, ATOSS Software, Applied Materials, KLA Corp. and MSCI).
The database also includes a metric I've been experimenting around with, which is the 5yr FCF/share growth rate multiplied by the current FCF yield. This allows you to quickly find companies with high growth rates and attractive valuations. Companies standing out at the moment include Gamma Communications and Applied Materials.
You can find the latest database in the usual place on the Exclusive Content page.
- Updated Portfolio and Investable Universe Dashboards
I've also recently updated the Dashboards that cover the whole portfolio and investable universe, as well as the company specific dashboards. You can access them here.
You will notice a new position in the portfolio, which I'll reveal in a moment. For now, here's the dashboard for the portfolio and investable universe.
