🖥️ Long Equity - New data tools

This week I want to take the opportunity to announce a couple of new features that are now available to Long Equity subscribers.

You may have spoted that we now have a new landing page.

There's also some new functionality.

Stock Analysis tool

It's been a long time coming, but I'm pleased to annouce the release of our stock analysis tool, that breaks down the 10-year trend for six key financial ratios. My favourite feature here is the random button, that should hopefully provide you with some inspiration. I'm hoping to expand the features and coverage of this tool in the coming weeks.

Valuation calculator

There's also a valuation calculator, which is based on one of the valuation approaches I set out in my book. The tool automatically extrapolates the FCF per share growth trend 2 years into the future. It then forecasts what the share price will be based on that extrapolated value and the 10-year average FCF yield. The fields are all inputtable, so you can adjust the automated assumptions with your own. The current share price also requires updating. You are then given the estimated 2-year CAGR.

I will be releasing a user guide soon that talks through the features in more detail. I also hope to release a new tool soon that will help you follow the Long Equity portfolio in greater detail.
