🇳🇱 Searching for compounders in the Netherlands (Part 8)
This week we're searching the Netherlands for high quality companies.
The Netherlands has a highly developed and open economy. The main industries are agriculture and food processing (Unilever, Heineken), chemicals and energy (Royal Dutch Shell, DSM-Firmenich) and high-tech manufacturing (e.g. ASML and Philips). The country is a hub for multinational corporations, with strong sectors in finance, logistics and technology. Its economy benefits from a skilled workforce, innovation-driven policies and a strategic location in Europe.
Like previous weeks, we will take a look at suggestions from my followers on Twitter, take a look at the Dutch companies in the MSCI World Quality index, and then filter the Amsterdam listed companies looking for high share price linearity and high quality growth metrics. Using all these approaches we will then identify the companies that come up multiple times before digging deeper into their business model and selecting the best.
